Million investment in Belgian production facility Airosolutions
Airosolutions, full service developer and manufacturer of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, announces that it will start as per 1 February 2016 with a significant extension of its factory in the Belgian Heist-op-den-Berg. The investment of millions leads to a doubling of the production capacity. Currently the factory in Heist-op-den-Berg employs more than 50 people.
The additional building concerns a production unit of 1,850 square meters and 12 meters high. The extension of the factory entails a total redevelopment of production and logistic. Together with the new build all facilities on the terrain are modernized and improved. The announcement follows the decision of Airosolutions in December 2015 to assignfor the building of new machines, thus enabling to respond better to actual and future client needs. Airosolutions involves only renowned Belgian contractors for the extension and refurbishment of the facilities. The Willy Naessens Group has the lead in this.
Airosolutions is the new name of former Proficos that was insolvent last year and in October was partly acquired by the in Switzerland stock exchange listed Airopack Technology Group (ATG). At the time of the acquisition ATG already announced the investments in the company. Then, all main clients confirmed that they are happy to continue their business relationship through Airosolutions. It concerned globally leading personal care brand owners such as Beiersdorf, Laboratoires Urgo, Omega Pharma, Lornamead, Evonik, Reckitt & Benckiser.
Group company ATG sees much potential in Airosolutions and expects that the investment in space, production and facilities will already in 2016 lead to a revenue growth of around 15 percent at Airosolutions.
